I tried out ro-hockey after it was shilled in the previous thread.
It was pretty fun. The game oozes soul, but I had a few nitpicks with it. The big one was the random injuries that forced you to sit out if you got one; there were games where people were randomly injured for the entire rest of the game during the first minute or two of a game.

I'm pretty sure it was made by an /sp/ anon.

want a fun fact about the game? it's pretty fucking easy. the hardest part is literally the other players you play with, because they force you out of your role or just block your shots in general. to share some of my nitpicks as well: the referee kept calling fouls for every fucking punch I did, game also forces you into fights for no reason, not to mention random kids that get mad at you because you don't constantly feed them passes like a slave, etc. A positive I will mention is that some of the newspaper headlines are screenshot worthy nd got a laugh out of me, this also seems like a passion project with actual soul put into it which is rare nowadays.

Im making a shitty war game right now that takes place from 1948-1961 and I've hit a bit of a roadblock

I've made some stuff like the lobby is mostly made, but I need to start working on the maps, gun system, naval ship mechanics etc etc, and I would like to have the models for the actual guns or ships first and then build off of those

I've tried making models in studio but its too slow, they dont look good, have small (almost unnoticeable) asymmetries that annoy me, and they use too many parts and are too laggy. So the obvious thing I need to do is use blender, but im retarded and dont really know how to use it. I know how to move a part around in blender and thats about it

if anyone ITT that is good at modeling has any advice for learning blender I'd greatly appreciate it

I know how to fix the asymmetries its just its annoying having to constantly fix something that creates a 0.01 stud crack in a structure. I've watched videos of people using blender and such issues are much quicker to be fixed if they ever arise. I'm not going for a retro style at all, so it not being retro doesnt affect me. Alright, I think I have a solution that will solve the "What game are we playing after the /vm/ place."

I will script a surface GUI that when inputed a place ID, it will start a count down and have a join button for other players. When the join button is click, they will be added to the teleporting player list, and when the count down is done, it will teleport all players including the person who inputed the Place ID to the game. Thus not needing the need to post here about meet ups after.

I will call this the group teleporter SGUI, hopefully I can script this before the deadline. I have an hour and 30 minutes or so I am going to sccript so much I am going to shit my pants.

TweenService is good and useful because of the params you get. You can make it loop without needing it to run every frame and you can make it move in any way you want. it's much more organized than fiddling with each individual properties.
