That giant blob rolled down a hill shortly after I made that post kek. Got a chest with a lvl 70 piece of armor after killing it without being in a group, and even saw someone from the guild too.
All in all, it was more bearable than those world bosses in swtor from last season.

of course like 90% of the playerbase had shitty computers back in like 2008 so it looked all dark and weird back then but I remember the multi floors and shit and just mass aoeing down packs of mobs.

enemies scale to your level and quests give some exp too.
Though the current meta past level 16 would be going to Kheshetta and fishing for max level players leveling their alts/guildmates. The shared exp scaling is bugged there so you get full exp for the kills they get on groups of level 70 mobs.

Wait until you try playing 1990s games like Stellar Frontier by Stardock, or Microsoft Allegiance, or Discovery Freelancer, or Descent and it's many open source sequels or spinoffs.

Only Volition Freespace and their volunteer-fanatics on Hardlight has kept complexifying the graphics capability of their engine, I once played it on Linux, on a Geforce MX200 in the mid 2000s, nvidia drivers sucked horribly and did not play nice with any kernel update.

I think there's a UI addon. Didn't bother checking it though. The enemy's cast bar appearing over the buff/debuffs is retarded. As a necromancer, I need to keep track of Pestilent Blast landing on the target before using Chill.
