I'm reading 1 crit rate from gear equals to 1% more crit chance and since your base crit rate is 25, you'd need 75 crit rate on your gear to reach 100% crit chance (without taking crit resistance into account, something only end game bosses have)
Crit stat is trash, it only adds 1% to base crit rate every 3.4 points, so spending 255 points on it is the equivalent of having 18 crit rate on your gear lol

Tsukuchi (the dash) increases mp recovery on draw hit, so you use and abuse that. You also get more mp regen on hit if you have max MP capped.

I been playing this game back since 2016, was really surprised that the game is still alive all this time.
I stopped playing a couple years ago after the developer fucked up by setting fire to their server room and basically resetting everyone progress for the last month or so.
But that's not why I quit. I quit because I somehow wasted all 30 or something free orbs as the compensation of that incident on reset books only to make my build even worse than before.
I am back again after that autist from /v/ reminds me that I still have this game installed in my phone. I am surprised that they finally added a bazaar system in-game. I can finally roleplay as wandering alchemist/merchant just like what I wanted. I am now hooked on farming materials to craft consumables and then selling it in the town.
Though I am now broke after increasing my bazaar slot to 9.

premium currency is just for cosmetics or QoL stuff (stat/skill reset, teleports, bag/storage expansion), but the game is pretty generous with giving you all of those things for free anyway

I played for about 3 hours, a few missions after the minotaur fight. Is the entire game as small and cramped as the first areas? I was expecting an actual open world, not a hundred super tiny areas.
I really dig the old school anime style, the more or less free class system, the friend/second acc/companion system and most importantly that it has housing. But the fact everywhere is a tiny small area where I cant even jump off ledges is a deal breaker.

Knuckles are very versatile. You have ton of CC and later even damage/cc mitigation. Also there is second knuckle skill tree called Crusher, where you have Goliath Punch skill. It can carry you through a lot. You could even go for magic knuckle route if you but Magic Blade skill book.

Thats actually it. You just add few buffs and you're set.
As for stats I would recomment maxing STR and splitting the rest between DEX and AGI.

Accuracy is pointless as crits don't miss, so you want to stack as much crit in your equipment as you can. Strength not only raises physical damage, it also raises crit damage.
Agi makes you attack faster, which is also important because in battle MP regen is tied to auto attacking.
