While chasing my own time because the replay didn't save I found out that ABS is crazy fast. You can make more mistakes and it makes the brakes slightly stronger because it basically fixes a wrong brake bias.
Let's say you have full front brake bias:
If you brake too hard with no ABS on, you lock up your front tires and release the brakes.
If you brake too hard with ABS on, then the system releases the fronts while still clamping on the rear brakes, giving you full braking power

The idea in sim racing games is that assists help you out for a price.
Meaning that using ABS makes your brakes weaker compared to non-ABS brakes, which require skill to master.
Traction control cuts off for harder so you learn throttle control.
Automatic transmission shifts slower so you learn to shift.

Making assists faster than no assists is backwards and punishes skill

In june of 2024(june 17th, to be specific) i started to keep track of my online race results in Forza Motorsport, because i was tired of waiting for devs to implement stats in the game. I started by copying the basic spreadsheet of some other player from the game forums. I quickly realized how lackluster and basic his spreadsheet was and i decided to rebuild it, from the ground up. I spent countless hours trying to perfect it, to fit my needs, to make it work perfectly for me.
Starting from june 17th 2024, i added info from EVERY SINGLE online race i ever did in FM, and today, october 11th 2025, i finally finished the 500th race.
Out of 500 races, i won 21. I finished on podium 108 times, 225 times in top 5 and 409 times in top 10.
Since i was a non-quali chad most of the time, i gained overall 3150 positions and lost 27 positions in all races.
On average, my finishing position is 6.78, and i gain around 6.25 positions in each race.
Honestly, i think these results are very good, but i strive for more, for better results, and that's what i'm planning to do for next 500 races!

Biggest news of the week: Cheating scandal! Just like any other respectable racing series, /forza/ Rivals Championship has its fair share of controversies. We had cheating scandals before, but this one is truly unique. Semobii accused settiesa5847 of cheating. But, instead of doing it like a normal person, Semobii went full schizo and posted barely comprehensible video(>>2013606). Cheating is a serious offence, as well as baseless, slanderous accusations. After thorough investigation, Rivals Anon found so-called "proofs" lacking in substance. Official verdict: settiesa5847 is innocent, and Semobii needs to take a chill pill.
Also in the news: One-sided battle for P3 in championship rages on! XxKrispenWahxX is only seven points behind Anaerobisk! If Anaerobisk not gonna show up in next two weeks, XxKrispenWahxX gonna overtake him!
And a special shoutout to LonerHC! This guy doesn't care about championship, he participates only if he feels like it, because he's a real maverick!

Recipe for success: 1) get a good, clean quali lap right before the race start, when the track is nicely rubbered-in; 2) get a decent launch; 3) exit out of first turn better than all other drivers; 4) do the rest of the race as clean as possible; 5) DO NOT fold under pressure on last lap after seeing your opponent suddenly getting VERY close to you.
I almost screwed up the last step. Thank god i found enough mental strength to lock in and bring it home.

Diablo, it's the most 'drivers car' of the list. Miura and Countach, regardless of their legacy, are absolute dogs to actually drive. would be very pretty to have on static display, but that seems like a waste to me. So I'd leave them for the people who would appreciate them more. Everything after the Diablo (save for the Gallardo and Huracan) are made to be Saudi wealth bonds rather than to actually be enjoyed.

Another season of /forza/ Rivals Championship is over! And this time, we witnessed a tremendous comeback of settiesa5847! He came back, ready for a fight, and he got it! He had a long and hard fight for title with Semobii, and with Anaerobisk. Anaerobisk dropped out after week 6, and Semobii wasn't as strong as he was before, so settiesa5847 got the win, and we congratulate him! That was an amazing season, well done, great job! There's a section in the forest part of goliath where you're driving on a magnetic track tilted by 90 degrees, only the magnetic part is interrupted by pieces of regular track, and my car just slides off and hits the wall.
Maybe I should go up to A or S1 next and add some aero to hold it down.
