I'm mad that the Urbanmech is the only robot with 360 torso twist. I hope they add a Hero Thor/Loki/whatever with 360 twist so I can go back to being a shitter like I was in MechWarrior 4. Add a shield on top for maximum memes.

Technically they gave the Vapor Eagle legend (Gorewing) that quirk. But it's kinda shit.
Gets no falla damage as well so you can at least try to cod trick shot people

Tier doesn't matter and the game arguably becomes worse once you reach tier 1 since queue times double; don't play for rank. Play for fun, play for completion if that's your thing, but don't play to be #1 in a fourteen year old game with less than 800 active players. All your unlocks will be lost to time somewhere between tomorrow and 2030. There's no records to obtain, no prizes or trophies, no achievement to be remembered for. It's for simple entertainment and nothing more.

Didn't know what to do with my Crael, but I think after sifting through GrimMechs and the new Cauldron weapons, I'll try 5x Light AC2s + a PPC. Wish there was an IS Mech I could cram 10 Light AC5s on, but it doesn't seem like they'll ever get something like that.

I was surprised to find it still up but my friends and I needed a place to talk while his own server was down so I signed in on a hail Mary and I'll be damned if it wasn't still there. It's a time capsule of like 2018 Kong.

Please recommend what pick-a-mech I should pick for the Halloween prizes. I have no idea what to get. I mostly just brawl in my Snub Urbanmech, and sometimes do a bit of sniping with my PPC Cougar. I kind of want to try making a LRM or missile boat. I also want to try playing an assault mech but I have no idea how.

i'm planning to pick the mauler mx90 and the aksum. however, this is mostly because i already have the ones i think are better.
for champs, most of the omnipod champs are good to great since you're only "buying" the ct for them. ie, pick up the shadow cat, hellbringer, timber wolf, stormcrow, etc. if you don't have them already.
for heroes, can't go wrong with the juggernaut, gausszilla, war emu, aksum, or sovereign. probably more, but these are the ones that jump out at a glance.

G is quirked heavily for pulse laser range. 7 MPL works quite well even though it sounds undergunned. The range is just disgusting.
