It feels like the enemy power creep from 50 to 60 is greater than from 1 to 50. I guess they really expect you to do the breeding and Pal Soul stuff.

I think level itself effects damage calculation. Meaning a level 50 will do less damage than a level 60 even if they have the same stats

Keep in mind that 1-50 is the original level range. 50-55 and 56-60 were made with the previous power limits in mind. Oil rigs are probably the best benchmarkers since they're supposed to be challenging for players with 55 and 60 gear and stat boosters. Pals just kinda lag behind MC-chan and her gobmaxxed legendary rocket launchers

How much do you use the pals? I've had great success going all in on defense with the souls and a couple whistles. Use pal as aggro draw and galeclaw glider to doge/position yourself to deal damage and then GTFO.

Yeah its pretty much expected, its a core part of the game, especially late game. All my damage comes from pal damage since i dont like to deal with farming resources. Björn hard and lvl60 oil rig are the only situations where i have to wear armor and do some player damage.
You dont have to use meta btw, my team is Dazzi, Gloopie, Icelyn, Katress Ignis and Tarantriss and its more than enough.

Similar to how I play. I'd use pals on the oil rigs more, but the targeting vs the chopper is abysmal unless you ride selune and manually aim the moonlight beam.

Lads help me fill my 50 Pal mega base with Dark types only.

- Dazzi Noct as the General Manager (also mainly for electrical)
- Prunelia for planting and harvesting
- Splatterina for handiwork.
- Katress Ignis for kindling.

O-okay I know what this looks like, but it's not. The a lot of the fuckable Pals just so happen to be Dark type, which come with Nocturnal built in!

So, transferring Passives to pals.
Am I right in understanding that do it, that you basically need to get a pal with the Passive you want, then follow the degrees of seperation from that pal to the pal you want to transfer the Passive to, and breed it down the line?

Serious post btw, Pengullet, Cattiva and Foxparks are incredibly overrated and I really don't get their popularity other than people just saw them first and less likely played more than a few hours of the game.
These comparisons came to mind since I'm farming work suitability books and just picking Pals I like the most for my base instead of whatever's best. I've realized I really don't care for most of the larger pals and my enjoyment for this game spiked in the early game.
