Jorb announced a new world starting december 5th

Did they finally remove permadeath? I don't mind getting knocked out from time to time. I would love to PvP a little myself but losing your character is a dealbreaker.

As much as I like the aesthetic, every world I've played has been a shitshow. Just play Don't Starve Together, and actually have fun.

I'm going to play the first two months. That's where the fun is.

The game improved more in the last year than the entire of post-legacy combined. Hopefully Jorb fucking understands player retention is the most problematic element for this game and starts addressing it finally.
