What is it with mobile anime games and their overreliance on turnbased games and MOBA slop?

It's the ideal genre for mobile given the lack of intuitive controls.

That's just how anime is, it keeps recycling the same stories, characters, genres, gameplay, etc - because if it ain't broke, don't fix it. And weebs are mostly fond of this because decade after decade they get the same stuff they like. When they see, say a busty tomboy onee-san, they immediately know what they're getting themselves into, and they know they'll enjoy it.
