That's a rumor at the moment because none of the big heads who worked on TS have said anything negative about it, nor anything positive. kaze feels so overly complicated bros

her main attack is like nani's where you can measure the angle and length but it's also a dash but also a circular attack like jacky's that is instead but also like shades except it rotates every time, if your opponent is even near a wall it's almost impossible to hit the sweet spot

her knockoff sandy super doesn't feel impactful either and taking 1300 damage for leaving it is a slap on the wrist

her ninja form for some reason is slower?? feels very jarring when switching over, her main attack is more inconsistent than cordelius's and it's without the upside that cordelius is very fast so you can at least line yourself up with your target

her ninja super goes very far which is good but sometimes you dash way past your intended target which gets annoying, it's like her ninja form is better with walls but gets countered by throwers whereas her geisha form is better without walls but gets countered by mid-range damage dealers

yes I bought her but it's only to understand her mechanics and do a breakdown on her like this, it feels like a brawler supercell pumped in a ton of cool gimicks but never thought how'd they interact with each other, she's fun to play with her limitless movement in her geisha aspect but it's very clunky and jarring most of the time and her ninja form isn't used much due to just how slow it is for an assassin and for how extreme her dash is, I'd prefer melodie's dashes since you can break it up into three separate parts as it's much more manageable

her hypercharge is whatever, ninja super is pretty good doe

Are DDoS attacks a common thing in Brawl Stars?
I just had a championship game where at 3 critical times I lagged out to the point I couldn't move. 2 times at the final 1v1, and once perfectly when an Edgar jumped on me. Otherwise my connection was perfectly fine throughout the match, and I've since played a few games after it and my connection is still perfectly fine.
The enemy team seemed to know what was happening too, taunting me when I froze, and using the break to heal themself another time.

It's...weird to say the least

It seems like this mastery bonus event will benefit people who have a good deal of brawlers unlocked without having too much account progression, as in, they never really bothered pushing ladder or completing all brawlers' mastery tiers to Silver III.
Basically they're not quite new to the game, but far from having the experience, skill, or time to have made much progress in trophy road and having to rely on masteries for resources.

If you're too new where you lack a decent amount of brawlers to capitalize on the mastery bonuses or you're a veteran with several brawlers' masteries completed and past a lot of trophy road rewards that are being switched out and improved, this event might even be insulting for you.

Who thought that all brawlers should be level they are? You get lvl1 brawler he will scale like lvl1, when enemy having lvl11 will scale as lvl11.

I have no idea how it could be, it completely kills the artillery and support class, why would you ever play Gray or Sprout in this mode? You really only go Clancy, Lumi, Ash, Griff, and a beefy tank like Bull or Rosa down the middle. Everything else is basically irrelevant.

I.e. kenji having shield, heal on attack, dash, aoe ulti with invincibility all in one champ.

I think adding exp farms on the sidelines could help reduce how oppressive the mid/jungle is.

No wonder Lumi and Kenji are OP when their whole skillset combines tanks, snipers, assasins and area control.
Lumi has range of a sniper and can slow and stun you on that range, additionally her attack passes through enemies so it is railgun sniper attack like Mandy's ulti with AOE making it combination of Carl's and Squeak attakcs that can hit you behind a wall and in a straight line from champ. The recharge of it is also faster than most brawlers making her unchaseable with normal brawlers.

And Kenji is typical OP weeb bullshit who has dash to close range, shield so he does not die doing so, healing so if he gets close he will heal and ulti that charge too fast and has area of half of the map so any targeted brawler that does not have dasz or jump will be hit 100%. And of course being invulnerable while ulting and it healing him due to trait.

Whoever thought out these skillsets was fucking retard who never should be given any creative freedom in any game.

They need to tone down Lumi's damage and her SP. With Kenji, well first we need to start talking about that disgusting hyper charge if anything. Who though combining arguably the best super (Tara's super) with two slashes that can deal an upwards of 2600 and a TELEPORT on a CLOSE RANGE brawler was a good idea? The slow was definitely atrocious too. I honestly think the slow only would've been fine if she did Gale levels of damage, but the fact she mows down everyone she outranges makes it nauseating.

Yeah, I understand their direction with it due to her being a controller, but I feel like it would've been more appropriate if they tied it to her super instead. Would've been nice to have a counterpart to her fire starpower too.

When you have a brawler with limitless ammo, anything that adds a type of attribute to their main attack will get much more value than, say, Piper or Belle, where if you miss their main attacks, it's not like you can just instantly recall your attack and try again. There are specific cooldowns and checks in place that keep brawlers from milking the hell out of their abilities, which, fortunately or unfortunately, don't exist for Lumi.

In Brawl Arena, if you play Draco with the last stand gadget and activate it before dying while the enemy nexus targets you. Every time your HP reaches 0 it counts as a "death" and gives the opponents a ton of exp.

My opponents we're at levels 9-10 when I dived, they were all level 13 after I died due to how much exp they gained because of this bug.

He's probably talking about the Starr road. They only let you pick from a predetermined set though, and Collete is pretty far down in the road.
There's also a "unlock any brawler" reward which can let you get Collete early. You can get it from the brawl pass or sometimes they give it out for free (like in the last event). Otherwise the only other way you can get her early is by buying her with gems. You get 50 per month for free and sometimes brawlers can go on for sale in the shop.
They are changing the Starr road in the next update, so if you're lucky maybe they will make her easier to get.

I don't like Alli, she feels too human for the swamp of love and comes off like another "female brawler". Like Mandy, Charlie, Lola, Janet, Kaze, Lumi. What the fuck is their personality? There's nothing "strong" about them compared to say Stu's constant stuttering or Griff's voicelines.

Why are all the new females so similar? The only unique ones we've gotten so far have been Melodie, Eve, Pearl and Bonnie. What happened to our unique ones like Bea or Jacky or Max? Feels like all the new ones are the same bird with different dyed feathers. No personality, no unique gimmick in terms of character design, just tasteless. Maybe I'm judging to harshly but I like my characters to be more wacky and zany since well this is supposed to be a wacky game about human beings going insane after touching a gem. HOLY SHIT GUYS SUPERCELL IS SO MANIPULATIVE, I'M SURPRISED NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS.

For those who don't know, the P.E.K.K.A. Ash skin and the Witch Mandy skin are finally available at their ID store https://id.supercell.com/en/brawlstars/

The thing is, you used to be able to buy rewards at the store and I mean crazy good rewards like thousands of coins and power points. You can see in the picrel I provided that them adding star drops back is a recent addition (their newest brawl talk is on the bottom) because I complained earlier this month they removed it (seen here https://arch.b4k.dev/vmg/thread/1750088/#q1758765). every update they've slowly removed the things you could buy until it was only star drops. LAST update they removed even those and now the only thing you could get was only cosmetics, something that offers no value for progression. Now that the P.E.K.K.A. Ash and Witch Mandy skin are in the store (meaning the store will be gaining more traction) they finally put star drops back which leads me to believe that they reduced the progression from the store when less people were using it in hopes that less people would notice but once it's finally back in the spotlight they add them back to trick people into believing they were always there.

Whatever this is, either they messed up and accidentally removed them which follows their track record of being a multi-billion dollar company who's game has a sea of bugs, or Supercell is intentionally manipulating players by only making pre-existing offers available when there's something new and shiny on the market incentivizing people to spend more to get progression boosts.

I hate to sound dramatic but for the very first time since I start playing last year, I had absolutely no drive to want to open up and play the game today.
I loved and was addicted to this game but it's speeding into a canyon at this point. I thought I'd have a maxed account by the time the game went the path of progression strangulation like the other SuperCell games, but it seems like it's already here.

I hate how now you have to be stingy af with your gold and you simply can't buy a gadget for a lv 7 brawler now thinking, "Eh, I'll make it back with their mastery and the game sense EXP is priceless."
It almost feels like you have to spreadsheet your resources now since nearly all progression sources are RNG and almost EVERYTHING comes from just the BattlePass. Some of us complete those passes around the FIRST WEEK so we're left in a resource "drought" for weeks.

Overall the promises are good. If they stick to them it will be overall a positive change.
The cynical part of me can't help but imagine that they are forgeting to mention something though. Something will be worse and players won't complain because "at least it wasn't as bad as it can be (pointing at this update)" or it will be apart of the game people don't think about, like maybe events will be much worse now.

My personal bet is something like: After Trunk releases there will be a 3 live challenge to get the new brawler each month. And at the same time they will sneakily change it so new brawlers will only get out of early access AFTER the brawl pass ends.
That way majority of players will still fail to get early access and it actually takes longer then before to get the new brawler for most players.
(The less evil way is to make it so mega pig now rewards early access instead of shit rewards it gives out now.)
