Reposting here and attempting to delete the old (in /v/) because I forgot this board exists.
TL;DR: Can you cheese Castles using eugenics?
I didn't play Bethesda's Castles mobile game long because I got sick of gathering resources manually. While I was playing, I realized quickly that, since the player controls mariage and reproduction and since nobility is both hereditary and an STD, wiping out the Commoner class within a few generations is entirely plausible, thereby trivializing all disputes between nobles and commoners: Just decide in favor of the nobles since there won't be any commoners to complain. They even give you potions to age children magically, giving you more marriageable nobles quickly.
I realized after I quit that you could probably do that with races as well. After that, you would seem to have no remaining factions to fight with each other, making the king's job incredibly easy.
Am I off my rocker? Is that how people normally play the game? Does it work? I want to know without bothering to play the game for myself. We need the equivalent of Mr. Handy from Fallout Shelter.
