>>57909243I'm not doubting all the leaked documents. I'm just saying the transcript that generated attention feels off; just the transcript specifically. Like, corporate meetings usually have minutes taken, sure, but why would this particular meeting, and no others, be worth creating a full, word-for-word transcript of? It's not an interview or for public consumption after all. It's obviously not the only PowerPoint meeting TPC ever had that included Game Freak staff, so if it was 100% legit, you'd expect to have found more than one transcript in the leaks, but there was only one, and as I said, the topics discussed and takes given sounded like what fans imagined or wished the TPC officials would say, not what they would actually say. That said, you're right that the whole translation, not just of the transcript but also of the Sinnoh myths stuff, mainly caught controversial attention because of horrible machine translations that either destroyed context or completely mistranslated. Call it head-in-the-sand, but I personally think one is better off just pretending the transcript is fake until it's ever confirmed (which it never will be, obviously), because people have not only drawn conclusions of stuff from a sketchy transcript, but from a botched translation of a sketchy transcript.
