The game is too strong with UBs. Speaking only in terms of PVE.
The event matches are too much damage too fast, you can't deal damage fast enough unless you also run an EX that can turbo. Low-HP decks are ruined by the free switch+Lusamine+100 damage in two turns combos. Same goes for Silvally, just too much damage for nothing.
My pet deck, PikaEX/Oricorio/Tapu isn't able to deal enough damage or take any hits. That UBs are mostly non EX fucks my birds up.

I think this the best deck for auto battle, at least is the one that has the best results with this event.
I have been running 9 accounts since MI for trades (this is way too many to feed one account), so far giratina beats 18 articuno and darkrai for win rate.
The AI really likes to waste energy retreating 1 retreat cost pokemon, so I recommend you run high retreat cost (2 or 3), 0 cost also work but there are few of them and I haven't tested them.

Hey there /tcgp/, I started playing this about a month or so back and now that I feel I've gotten enough cards I've started trying to climb the ranked ladder.

I've assembled this deck around Kommo-O because I always liked the design, but I've basically had to make this deck on my own because there's basically nothing useful out there for Kommo-O decks and in all my time so far playing matches (ranked or unranked) I have yet to see a single person use it. I also unfortunately don't have anybody in my usual circle of friends that plays this, so I'd like to pick your thoughts on it - for what it's worth I've already managed to get into Great Ball rank, however much of an accomplishment that is.

The basic gameplan is to have Druddigon out as a do-nothing wall while I build up Kommo-O to swap in and deal a lot of damage - with Alolan Raichu as a sort of fallback if I'm up against a similar ramp deck that uses some big high-energy mon like Giratina.

kommo-o is not a very good card. the drawback is huge, and as a two-energy dragon type stage 2 it's heavily outclassed by garchomp.
still, if you want to use it despite it not being meta, i'd say using it with electric oricorio is basically mandatory. most things that threaten oricorio die to kommo-o, and any deck with electric energy can and should be using the funny bird.
i'd suggest swapping both drudds for funny bird, or squeezing in the silvally core by dropping the pikachu line as well. silvally makes a lot of weaker cards playable simply by carrying them until they can do their thing.
