No and there's no connection between the war in Kalos and the Darkest Day, only the similarity of both taking place around 3,000 years prior to the events of XY and SWSH respectively.

There was a rough timeline of events for AZ in the Teraleak.
Floette was a gift from his mother when he was 3
She was stolen by soldiers when he was 12
She died 6 years later when he was 18
He built the machine and ended the war at 21
Kalos war at minimum lasted for about a decade
They never say which Region Kalos went to war with, only that it was a neighboring territory. Everyone assumes it was Paldea. Unova and Kalos were said to be allies though, and that's why there are some statues of Unova mons at the palace in XY.

I know nothing about anything, so if I had to guess there was some kind of massive Roman like empire that was controlling a German like region to invade Kalos.
Further more, I believe Gym Leader Poketius Pilate was the one who executed Floette.
