Now, of course, there is one way to get out of this mess. If you attach cloak to Lycanroc on turn 4 you will survive and get to KO Silvally. That is, assuming your opponent is not a retard who happened to just randomly attack on turn 3 and flip tails. i run mars in every deck i can fit it in, but red card is objectively bad. if you don't open with it on your first turn, it's basically a completely dead card.
mars however is a game-winner.

i've gotten significantly fewer likes once i started running banette to slow down silvally decks and brick stoke charizards

silvally is the only stage 1 deck around right now and it searches silvally anyway so they don't care most of the time
and the other stage 2 decks around besides stokezard are shiinotic-based and vomit their entire deck onto the field asap so red carding really doesn't do shit, you're just blindfiring it hoping they had shiinotic in hand
