I'd call the first two-ish years of Horizons significantly above average as far as anipoke goes, but after the Lucius plot kind of came and went and the animation budget stopped existing, well, I'd honestly say Horizons has the largest gulf in quality within any single series. The new episodes are choppy, ugly, and feel like a superficial attempt at grabbing interest via megas, Lucario, and probably the least impactful timeskip in the history of kid's anime.

Because nobody cares about the series so OLM decided to put all their resources on The Apothecary's Diary that has better writing, better world building, better characters, better humour and an actual awesome female protagonist unlike Liko. The only reason OLM and TV Tokyo working on Pokémon 2023 is because they get paid by TPC. Heck the writers probably doesn't care about the current Anipoke since it feels like the series is written by a five year old.
