I was using Slick Spoon, Resonant Guard and Focus Band on Lapras. If you want to stack then Aeos Cookie with Choice Specs should be viable too. Throw Exp. Share to the trash bin - you are a tank, not a supporter. The notion that tanks need to sacrifice bulk/damage to hold attacker's hand is ridiculous in solo queue.

Either way, you want Bubble Beam. Always. The shield it grants is way too valuable.

You would want to pick it for additional damage calculated from opponent's missing HP. It doesn't scale from neither Attack nor Special Attack of your Pokemon.
I still find this item sub-optimal. You are better off with Slick Spoon for HP, Special Attack and Special Defense penetration. Perish Song is still the main damage source for Lapras, not the autos.

From my understanding the additional damage from the percentage hp burn is converted into attack(the damage type) which means it will be reduced by the defense stat, it doesn't mean that it bases your attack stat for damage calculation.
The actual damage itself is calculated using the opposing Pokemons current HP stat.

Generally though, full stacks from scoring are significantly stronger than full stacks from kill/assists, until like level 14/15.
