the three most kino movies. I'd probably have to say 2000 > 3 > 1
three only being lower because it's kind of a clone of another movie and didn't really need to be a pokemon movie.

but they're all great.

Movie 1 has way more lore but that is mostly due to it being new and the series being fairly new itself.
Movie 2 also had some good lore and even hype leading up to the day the movie came out. I was spoiled on it 1 year prior due to having a Japanese friend
Movie 3 was good, not as strong as the others but still maintained some good aspects.
Everything after this becomes hard. Movie 7 and 8 were my favorite ones for AG. DP movies were cool in that they formed one big sequel series but they were meh. BW movie 14 A and B were interesting. XY movies were okay. The remake of movie one I usually count with the first, even though it looked weird. The last movies were interesting in that they are their own universe. Basically the OG story just modernized.
