just because it's a joke doesn't mean it's not canon.
The women are portrayed as pervy weirdoes, same with Lana and Bianca frothing over pokemon muscles. They're appearance and behaviorally coded similar to like, fujoshis etc in other anime.
And similarly pokemon with crushes on humans, like Marenie and Bayleef, are portrayed as eccentric. Though they're more romantics like Brock than purely lustftul like the human women are portrayed.
But they're all still canon. Just because the only examples we see, pokemon or human, are all girlfailures, doesn't mean that it's not a part of the setting. It just means the same kind of people in their world that would smash pokemon are the exact same kind that are monsterfucker degenerate losers in ours. The only difference is there world really does have monsters to fuck, and some of those monsters are equally degenerate humanfuckers.
