I don't give a shit about Ash himself, but his anime was definitely more fun than Horizons. Episodic is the way to go. The continuity of Horizons pulled me in early on, but the spell has worn off, lol. The payoffs aren't worth waiting for and the story isn't well written.

I totally understand why a lot of you are still wowed by the continuity, but I'm gonna go ahead and assume this is the only anime you watch if that's the case. Other shows deliver and have an actual plan... Horizons is winging it AND the execution is really, really inconsistent.
