I honestly couldn't tell. While I'm sure most artists can easily distinguish what's AI and what's not, I typically can't, unless it's fairly obvious.
And maybe it's because I'm not an artist what I'm about to say probably isn't the popular thing to say, but I'm fine with AI art. I think there's a big enough space for all forms of art to exist. I do think it's important to properly label art, so it's clear what is and isn't AI generated, but I'm personally glad it exists because it means more art to enjoy, art that wouldn't otherwise exist, and it still allows people to express their creativity to a degree, even without possessing the skills/software to make it themselves. I second this Anon, There is NO Tory fanart at all there like 2 if that. So I had some fun "making" my own. I think it made something really cute. I can't draw to save mein life but I second that it should be labeled. I only posted it without a label to see if anyone could point out that it was AI, cause that one looks really human like. maybe an artist could tell or someone just looked at the Meta data and cheated by throwing in into a program that can tell.

How long did it take you to generate this art and how? I can't draw either, but the world needs more Pokeboys, especially ones that have been neglected/forgotten over the years, like Tory, and I am considering learning how to use AI to try my best to bring some of these boys back (and maybe that could even lead to some artists to take an interest and draw them using more traditional means!), so any advice would be appreciated.

Forgot to answer time, It legit takes 2 mins sometimes less, to make 2images think it makes 4 if u got the +memebership. Some come out better then others, they burn them GPU UP.. time to burn them up making Pokey boys of old.

Your collection efforts are appreciated, anon. :) The internet is such a big place that finding and saving art can feel utterly overwhelming. Crazy to think how even the biggest sites where artists either upload their art directly or ones where others just upload art they've saved still only manage to hold a tiny fraction of the art out there, and that's not even counting the art lost to time.

And yeah, I think a big reason Red x Blue is one of the most popular ships in the Pokemon fandom is because the trope you mentioned is such a natural fit for their characters.
