just switch into a resist... the most common defensive type in the game resists it, and it also deals recoil so they cant spam. if youre secondary typing doesnt resist fire use a rock type for the same effect

No, it was priority tailwind and roost in VGC and BSS. Now, if you use fake out, which has higher priority, on Talonflame, it no longer has priority status moves. Talonflame ia now balanced in VGC. You get one turn of priority at the most.
