What's going on with the remote raid platforms? Poke Genie used to be a pretty good launcher to use for them, but now all of the players and hosts suck. If you were playing SV as your main time sink, you could probably get a complete game dex in under a month. For example trading is free, unlimited and not restricted by distance in the games while in pogo there are very high costs if something's not in your dex (filling of which is the main purpose of trading) and your friendship isn't months old, you cannot trade remotely because fuck you and IVs are rerolled because of course they have to, you wouldn't want to give your friend your spare hundo, need to make it worthless.

I gave up on PvP long-term last month because it was a drain on my life and, even as I tanked most of the time, it still ate up 45 minutes of my life I could've been doing literally anything else. 28 million stardust should be enough, right?

I imagine everyone else gave up because it seems the meta has centered on Clodsire again, everyone's least-favorite Great League Pokémon. Most of the top 20 are extremely resilient to Charm spam, so you can't even rely on simple teams anymore. It's even worse now that most of the Pokémon that see play in Ultra League are current or former Great League all-stars at lvl. 50, and almost all the top 10 Master League picks are either fusions, variants of Palkia, or Urshifu. (You do have your lvl. 50 Sucker Punch Urshifu, right Anon?) Every open league sucks and it's probably not gonna get any better until Steranka either breaks apart some leagues or adds new ones (3500cp Luxury Cup when?).

Point is, just invest in whatever you like, there's little reason to care about PvP these days.

I tank while watching fun youtube vids. I came back to the game pretty recently and had to change my team to adjust it to what works nowadays but you don't need the sweatiest meta mons to tank (but it does help a lot). Just visit pvpoke and check if you have any of the top mons for the leagues. You can minmax with IVs but as long as you don't invest too much and have fun with the rewards (9 rare candies daily + free dust + the chance at a free legendary) it's worth it.

Well bros, I just received an email from niantic telling me that my alt's submission was rejected. I'm going to re-submit again, think that's the best/only thing I can do. Both submissions took around 10 days to get rejected, so I'm guessing I can at least re-submit 6 times a month.
On a separate note bros, is it possible for a submission to turn into a power spot when there aren't any gyms/stops in the same cell? There are like 2 power spots in my area that seem to be there despite the fact that there aren't any gyms/stops in those cells. Anyone know anything about this?

There's something I wanna know related to this. If a submission is accepted in a cell which only has a power spot (no gym/stop), does it turn into a stop? Or is that marked as a power stop? As far as I read, power spots only generate when a cell is already occupied, but if for whatever reason there's a power spot and no gym/stop, what happens?

my only experience of this is making a submission, it gets accepted, it gets turned into a pokestop and the previous powerstop disappeared but that was because my new pokestop was too close to the powerstop (<22m)
