People splashing Oricorio in everything is super annoying. Went up 2 points against this guy, then he dropped it and killed the momentum as I had to wait to draw one of my outs to finally beat it for game as he was charging up his bench. I don't like the idea of its existence because even if you do account for it, if they catch/play around your out or you can't draw it in time then you lose.
They should have never designed it to be a non-conditional EX block. It should have said something like it negates attacks from EX cards that deal 70 or more damage (its HP level) OR it negates an attack from EX cards once while in Active so that you have to swap it out and back in to shield again. It's ironic because usually they do put a bunch of conditions on cards to allow some wiggle room for playing around them. Even though I don't like its introduction I'd never want set rotation though. They should just ban or errata it or introduce a solution like a Pokemon Tool that lets you bypass Pokemon abilities when attacking.

Your prevo that has energy on it is what would have evolved into your EX. It takes a prevo around 4 turns to KO Oricorio since they usually deal 20. You're going to have to keep your vulnerable prevo in Active for 4 turns while building up the real EX Evo on the bench with enough energy and damage to KO the enemy's incoming EX. It's not realistic, and usually takes until late game. Not to mention, if you do that, you only get 2 points and Oricorio comes back in where you're down prevo 1 because it was KO'd and prevo 2 because you evolved it. And then it's back to waiting for a Sabrina draw hoping you don't get KO'd by then. Even worse if you didn't get 2 points because they used a non EX to KO.

Solgaleo is a problem too, I think its ramping with candy can be oppressive. Oricorio though is a Basic that's not even an EX and has a blanket non-conditional ability that can even constitute an auto-win in some cases. Its level of unfairness is to a greater degree just because the devs bent over backwards restraining the vast majority of cards, especially non-EX cards, in the game. Solgaleo at least has to evolve as part of a 3 card combo with 2 energy.
