I get that why Iono used to be more expensive, but it's kind insane that Dendra out of all the characters in SV used to go for around $200+ at one point in Japan.

This is from 3 ETBs + 1 binder collection. Also got 4 more binder collections, but they only gave me 3 more low-tier IRs and a FA Hilda.

Wasn't particularly excited about my pulls at the time because I assumed Victini was a mid pull. Had no idea how much it was going for and I ended up selling for it 350 the next day. Probably could have gotten more, but it did have a small ding right out of the pack and I cannot imagine the current price will last, so I'm happy. It's an amusing novelty, but investors are truly retarded for spending hundreds on a stock art but red just because it's "rare". Especially when you can get it from both sets lmao.

I opened my two PC ETBs.
My White one was fantastic. I pulled the Master Ball Parat and Watchog back to back. Then I got three amazing full arts. I really wanted the Jellicent and Frillish ones. What are the odds of getting all that in a single ETB? I honestly don't think I could have had a better one unless you replaced Ducklet with a full art Bouffalant (which is one of my favorite Gen. 5 Pokemon) (although I really like Ducklet and the art is wonderful).
And then my luck ran out when I opened my Black ETB. I did want the full art of N and I think Solosis is really cute. I was a bit of a let down with it. I got less pulls for sure- unless this is actually a normal pull ratio and the White was just stupid lucky? Either way, I hope that means someone else's Black ETB was packed and had more pulls than normal. But again, N and Solosis are fantastic imo so I really can't complain at all.
Overall I was really really happy with what I got.

I definitely expect her to go down. I actually just traded for one valued at 50 because the other guy also expected her to go down and just wanted to move her. I'd think that the entire sets are going to go down drastically when the initial hype wears off and there aren't quite as many people buying as scalpers/investors anticipate. The fact that the set is split in two makes it easier for people to focus on the chase cards they want, plus each set only has 7 SIRs which makes each one significantly easier to pull, much like Journey Together. The english market as also made it pretty clear that they don't care TOO much about waifus, with cards like Bianca, Erika, and Lisia all being relatively low valued. And most of all, I think she's just overshadowed by the "true chase cards" of the set. People are going to see her as a bust when they're really after the ugly Victini and Reshiram. And even among the SIRs she's still below Reshiram and Hydreigon.

She's solid. I think she'll definitely see play, but there's not a TON of buzz about her right now. Even Iono finally dropped down below $60 and she's easily among the best and most widely used supporters this gen.

Funny thing is WotC have been greedy since the beginning without Hasbro. I remember watching a video on what they did with the Pokemon license. There was a QA from the 90s in the video and was asked why Pokemon packs cost more than MTG packs despite having fewer cards in it.
