The only thing that I would genuinely be excited for would be pixel remasters of any of the old games (maybe not Yellow, was never a fan of Pikachu), or at least akin to what they did with FFI&II Dawn of Souls or PSP. Battle backgrounds never looked as good, Trainer models in battle never looked as good, the chibi style in the overworld fit with the style of the old games and has its own charm just needed some slight touching up. For a first effort it’s very very impressive and puts anything Game Freak has done in the past 10 years to shame
