1. I did not make an appeal to realism. I said it makes "internal sense" (it makes sense in the pokemon universe).

2. The pokemon universe has basic physics logic. You see air resistance, gravity, forces etc in any short snippet of any pokemon media. And pokemon, which are organic beings in universe, have to follow these rules or it looks completely abstract non-sensical.
