Great example of a first stage being much better designed than it's evolution(s).
It's a clock owl. You got the eyebrows which look like hands, the eyes which look like smaller inset dials like you sometimes see, and the over-all profile of a classic alarm clock; while at the same time not being an object but a cute feathery owl.
Noctowl's design is fine, inoffensive, but it completely loses the analogue clock aspects and just looks like a wizened owl without any distinguishing features.
