I can say, mild e-stim doesn't hurt. It LOOKS like it hurts way more than it does, because you get some involuntary movement and spasms because muscles are being stimulated, but, it's honestly more like being tickled than hurting. It's different than tickling, at first it can sorta... "feel" painful, because your natural response to things tends to be alarm/pain, but, it really isn't.
It's like being tickled, but on the inside. And, depending on where you're shocking, it can feel really, really good, because muscles that aren't "supposed" to flex, flex. I only know a tiny bit of the anatomy, so could be describing it weird, but, for me, getting a bit around my groin makes the muscles around my deep clitoral roots tense, and makes my entire pelvis feel suuuuper good. It also feels good if I have anything in me, because my insides kinda clench and knead in weird, really neat ways.
I know for guys, it can make muscles around the prostate and other glands knead similarly, and result in some really cool, like, "orgasm misfires", as different parts of ejaculation fire off out of sequence. I've seen that a bit.
This doesn't apply to me, but electrostim can stimulate the vagal nerve in some people, and then for some people, getting a vagal nerve stim releases a TON of relaxation-endorphins-feel good, even without orgasm. Not for me, vagal stim for me mostly makes me just lose consciousness, but, electrostim doesn't do that to me, so it's fine.
Beyond mild it can start hurting, but, you really don't have to go further. I almost never do, but sometimes the intensity feels good and satisfying. It's also really cool and intimate if someone is getting stim, the tingle you get when you touch near there.
I fully get having a hard time hurting people, and that's something that's a personal level of comfort above all else, but, I can say, this one isn't hurting unless you push it. Take it slow at first, and it's completely non-painful, and actually pretty relaxing.
