TAG being easy to crack is a true collectors dream. I damaged a few cards from cracking psa and cgc slabs, happens to everyone at some point if you crack a lot of slabs. Thank God pumpers, investors and fomotards are all subhuman, and based TPC for releasing BWR and MUR rarities.
BBWF already gave me an idea of the trend, but now I see the MUR, the hebe trainer waifubait, the Gardevoir waifubait and the Lucario furbait are tanking all the hype, while the other SAR are under 70$ at release.
Compare this to JP Rocket, where aside from the obvious Mewtwo, the other 3 SAR were well over 100$ at release.

Totally agree. Before BW release I was hoping investors would be fooled into chasing the hot new rarity even if they look like shit. But I didn't even expect them to be the most valuable in the set. Reprints of old cards are only cool when its the entire set not a mish mash, the original versions of those cards are always better.
If they did all of base, jungle, fossil as a single set with like silver borders and shit, maybe or an entire english release of vending series. Otherwise celebrations is fucking ass, but retards will probably eat it up. And there is a ton of retards in this hobby that it could be a totally sustainable business model at this rate.
