It's because of shitty Pokefag drama over Flygon being the only gen 3 Dragon type Pokemon to not have a mega evolution.
This lead to dumbasses believing that Flygon somehow has it very bad despite actually being one of the better Pokemon from its debut generation.

If you want a gen 3 Pokemon that actually has it bad, take Camerupt, Tropius, or Absol into consideration.
If you want a Pokemon from other than gen 3, try the following:
- Dewgong
- Meganium
- Bastiodon
- Unfezant
- Aurorus
- Oricorio
- Thievul
- Squakabilly

All the Pokemon listed here actually have it far worse off than Flygon ever will, and that's what Pokefags don't understand.
