What pokemon is best for using varied party configurations? Been trying to go back to the games and use teams of shitters with no item and battles on set to see how many roadblocks I happen upon. Currently on SS, used rare candies to cut back on grinding time and currently stuck on Lance, team is level 47 and his team just seems way too strong. Curious what others thoughts on this is.

The games are meant to be beaten by a little kid sticking with their favorites

Yes my team of six shitters above have been fine, except magcargo really even beedrill can contribute occasionally, but it feels like the games do generally intend you to have your starter and maybe one other dependable mon. Over the years I've grown tired of sticking to basic parties, usually I avoid using my starter and obvious picks, and was curious what game people feel like allows the best diversity with the most minimal grinding.

Gen 8 or 9. If you’re willing to get the DLC it’s even easier to get EXP
