Well I put it that way because SS Iono is the EX Electric Terrain setter and Florian would have to be the one that works with her because of how unreliable the uptime is if just Ash, so Florian's double B Moves should do the trick but idk if he'll ramp up high enough in the time you have

SS Iono having flinch should help but you have to watch out with NC Blue ruining your flinch delays with his Discharge flinching too many at once, why I say on paper I see how it can be done but in practice could be messy since his Discharge is the main way of weakening enemy offense and building ally defense

Mine is 3/5 and she's great for C, but I don't think she can keep up the pressure over a long fight. Basically, her sync kills anything as long as it has -6def and -6 speed and then I oneshot one of the side dudes with her max move. The other side dude takes 2 turns to kill with regular attacks. You cant expect to get the best possible results S Tier rewards by not pulling for a specific event. You're going to struggle, like it or not. If your not pulling, than your only reason to care for the event is to just do 1 run for the cutscene gems. The freebie pairs arent even worth it unless you really like them (than in that case, you should have saved and pulled) or you build them just to be a meatshield/buffslut

I know they give better multipliers, but to say “oh if you don’t roll everything is pointless the units you get are shit anyway” is just dismissing the idea of even playing the game at all. “Why bother doing anything if you don’t use the gacha?” is exactly the kind of mindset that DeNA and every other mobile game dev exploits to make playing the game actively worse because they know no one plays, they just gamble.
If an academy unit that I like shows up in the gacha, I’ll go for it. I just don’t feel like rolling for a Gladion or yet another Iris I wouldn’t even use outside of the Academy Events anyway.

Using Buddy Thunderbolt and it only taking off a sliver of health is surreal. Maybe if I got insane flinch and paralysis luck I could manage it, but I don't feel like trying it again.

It just makes it take longer to actually sit down and play though. People don't have time to play this shit for a full hour all day. More stamina would be fine if it was also faster to use it. I just take the multiplier penalty so an Arc Suit or master fair can nuke the fight faster.
