Is there a description of the new megas? out of what we have confirmed I'm interested in Delphox, Skymory and Frostlass the most.

I kinda don't expect much from Mega Zygarde, I feel like it'll be something like Mega Garchomp and hurt it more than help it, Zeraora feels out of left field as does Flinks and Drampa due to them being Alola and Galar pokemon, especially since when you look at all the others there's a rather huge abundance of Kalos and Unova pokemon in here. I definitely expect Florette's mega being disappointing like it's flower just gets bigger because little pokemon tend to just gain accessories with Mega evolution rather than change outright, see Sableye and Mawiel

so the level of mega designs we're dealing with are

Mega Khangakhan level next to no change
Delphox, Greninja, Flotette fall into this one

Mega Absol level, base form just gains an extra accessory like wings or a protrusion grows bigger

Dragonite is this level

and finally Mega Gengar level, dramatic change to even it's shiny color. I guess based off the description
Chestnut, Starmie and Scollipede are this level

I'm actually pretty happy with this line up. Lots of cool mons, some fan favorites, and they're mostly all mons that have good potential but have always lacked in specific areas so giving them a mega could really breath some new life into them.

I wanted to see more regional forms and cross-gen evolutions in addition to new Megas. Getting ONLY new Megas has seriously killed my excitement for the game.
Add on top of that, Mega Dragonite's design just doesn't look great IMO. Has me worried for the other upcoming new Megas.

Because it DOES logically explain regionals as adaptations over time (the compelling force causing it may be dodgy as fuck in some examples like Raichu, but otherwise it's due to a complete and utter migration from its usual habitat and climates to then adapt over generations of breeding). And that's been true for every regional, because they were created specifically to be "outlanders that became inlanders" and presented as part of a new region (oops, we're going back to Kalos, not a new region, or undeveloped wasteland that becomes a region).
