I'm addicted to watching youtube videos about obscure pokemon mechanics, facts, events, and secrets.

Watch BlueBoyPhin if you havent already. Thumbnails might be clickbaity and some of his early stuff do have some well known stuff but he mostly covers lesser known things that caught me off guard and the presentation is rather unique too. I wish more chill channels like this about pokemon existed, instead we get the usual suspects flooding us

>Clickbait
>Why is Gen (number here) BAD/GOOD
>"HEY GUYS...."
>Video about pokemon viability but only covers the competitive side that most people dont care about
>Monotone and lack of focus reviews of Gen (number here)
>"I FIXED LE BAD GEN"

Well, could you tell us something interesting you've learned from watching them? If possible make it something not available with a quick search at Bulbapedia/Reddit/etc

I think BlueBoyPhin and SmithPlaysPokémon are generally more clickbaity/entrylevel (though phin is the better option). I prefer more in-depth stuff like SirToastyToes, Droomish or Etchy instead.

Watch Linneus' series on Pokéblocks and their spiritual successors. Tons of stuff poorly covered on Bulbapedia or not covered at all.

Phin is by no means the ragebaiting title, plastic performance and sheer biased takes having dude Smithy is. I took the plunge a couple times and all i've seen from Smithy made me roll my eyes for one reason or another. The ruins of alph and the lage of rage videos oh Phin are so well put together it puts every single other poketuber to shame, easily.

>SirToasty
He's a cool dude and it was thanks to him i found the bluemoonfalls website which is amazing for us Gen 2 enjoyers. Wish the videos were sort of trimmed here and there as the big ones can be a tiny bit exhausting to go over despite the subject being oddly interesting such as collecting ALL ribbons.

>Droomish
I did watched some of his stuff which was neat. No Guard Fissure Machamp preservation IS important.

>Etchy
Huh, turns out i did watch something from him, the Gen 4 trainer battle glitch which was pretty cool. I think we need more coverage on the JP playerbase too because they're a whole different beast.

I'm addicted to Cydonia's lore videos exclusively because of the presentation, so I get it. Something about his storytelling gets me.

There is no reason to talk about viability outside of a competitive context
