It's a cute game, but the updates take forever. We're at week 9 when it's meant to go all the way to week 52. It takes like 3 months for a week, which means you can expect the game to be completed in over 10 years. This requires the dev to at least keep with his current pace and not lose interest...and it requires it not to just get hit with a C&D.

It's pretty much a VN that utilizes the Pokemon battle system and characters. The story is about enrolling into an elite battle school to help prepare yourself to be a successful trainer in the future. There isn't really a proper romance/dating system yet, but there are some girls you can be a bit romantic with.
The characters are generally important characters that show up in the games or manga with few instances of characters from the anime or movies making their way in.

The fangame thread had several people playing it at once earlier this year and they were likewise unexpectedly impressed. I tried a demo earlier than theirs this year and can respect the ambition but didn't feel like playing any more.
