Now we're talking. Mega evolution being a temporary fucked up transformation is much better than dolling up a dinosaur or making a pig even fatter.

Mega evolutions were a mistake. Why can't I just give Meganium or Feraligatr and item that boosts their base stats without having their designs completely ruined?

the reason megas are allowed to have such high stats is BECAUSE they are overdesigned

so it's a good thing they're overdesigned. else they wouldn't be able to be so good in battle.

Something I still don't understand, are those only getting new Megas, or different final forms as well, like the ones in legends arceus? Only Megas right? Because there were no leaks of new forms or how they'd look like, plus a new form emboar being the exact same type wouldn't make any sense

If I bought the game (I wont unless it's god-tier and less than $60), I'd box my starter like I almost always do. The only exceptions to that rule so far are Meowscarada (female) and Primarina (female), and that's not going to change.
I just don't like using starters in Pokemon games, they make the game (mainly the beginning) too easy and I've always had this kind of autistic thing where I feel everyone using starters makes their parties too samey and soulless.
This also applies to legendaries and mythicals
