You should prioritize Chansey (Blissey with fully upgraded max spirit) over anything, two tanks can keep the entire team alive while the others do the damage.
Then wait for GMAX raids to collect attackers since they are most of the times the best you will ever have, upgrading dynamax mons is often a waste of resources.
Excadrill and Metagross are the other two dynamax mons you should raid and use, they are pretty good, safe and can serve as both tanks, and attackers.

Considering all the shiny locked legendaries and mythicals that are available in this game, I've decided to start playing. What's the fastest way to get to the level where I can start doing the higher end stuff for collection purposes, and how long would it take to get there? Is a high cp all that matters when doing raids or is there actual strategy with type matchups?

If you're playing solo, you can do raids and battles up to 3 stars. Shadow raids with 3 stars will probably be too hard so ignore those. You can build up a good team, you can collect a bunch of shinies... but you won't be collecting legendaries. Those are in 5 star raids that you can't solo.

For legendaries you need to

You get remote raid passes and other useful tools (like egg incubators and TMs) from boxes in the store. If you're not a paypig then you buy boxes with coins, and you get coins from placing Pokemon in gyms and waiting for them to be evicted. When you place a Pokemon in a gym, its health shrinks slowly with a CP under 1500 and quickly with a CP over 2500, so you might want to keep your weak mons under 1500 and some/most of your strong mons under 2500.

As for CP, every time you catch something you like, you should check a wiki to see what's a reasonable CP for it (as well as its best moves). Some mons easily get a high CP, some need a reasonable investment to raise their CP, some need a ridiculous investment to raise their CP.

Check on campfire. If you live in a large city there should be some really active groups. If you're in a smaller town you're pretty much out of luck. The only other legit way would be to go on pokegenie or leekduck and do remote raids but that's expensive.
If you want to spoof download pgsharp. Most active areas are central park in NY, other than that just take your pick of any major city and go to the tourist area. Akihabara, Taipei, Paris, London, Melbourne, etc. you'll have no problems doing raids with other spoofers.

Guys, I have the perfect pokestop for this Level 17 S2 cell close to me, but I have a little problem. There's this small takeout burger joint that is perfect, but it doesn't have a logo or anything identifiable like that. It has a couple of chairs and tables outside. It also has a chalkboard menu with the name of the place and a hand drawn logo, but nothing solid or nicer looking. For GBL, Giratina-A in Great League can be a legit game changer, especially if your in lower ranks or tanking, because it handles fire/water/grass cores on its own, which means triple stater teams can be free wins. Plus, being a backup Clodsire check is nice.
I feel like in upper rankings, losing to Mandibuzz, Diggersyby, Galarian Corsala, and Drapion is a little too rough to work with, especially because the relevant things it’s supposed to beat, it doesn’t even really beat well.
It doesn’t even particularly do its job well of beating fire/water/grass cores, because so many waters beat it. Gastrodon, Feraligatr, Azumarill, Greninja, and Lapras are like the most common waters to face in lower ranks.
It’s kinda cool cuz it does something unique, which can be more than said for our last few shadows, but I won’t be rushing to get one

It depends on what you mean. It's not that big of an issue if you just care about the shiny legendaries you would potentially get. It's important to note that PoGo works on 3-strike system: Your first strike is a 7-day ban, second is a 30-day one and the third is a permanent ban. So if you get, for example, the 7-day ban, just wait the 7 days and transfer your mons to HOME after that.

Not necessarily. Niantic has been cracking up on 3rd party software pretty intensively as of lately. The tping without respecting cooldown time is the easiest way to get spoofers I assume, but I've read (and seen) many cases where spoofer accounts get banned just for using pgsharp/other spoofer apps.

That's the thing, there is no sign or logo. There's a chalkboard with a hand drawn logo that's sort of attached to s tripod-like metal structure, but that doesn't look all that good plus waytrannies will definitely mark it as non-permanent. I was thinking of snapping a pic of the whole facade from across the street so that even the tables+chairs are visible. Only downside to this is that an employee will most likely be inside and if they are visible I'm boned because waytrannies reject that too. Any more pointers?

Decided to solo a tier 3 shadow raid. At first it was hard until I realized I could only win with just the strongest party member in my team and no one else to waste time with. The enraging boosts the bosses defense, and while I could have used the gems to subdue it I just didn’t feel like it, so I just kept attacking it. What I didn’t know until now is that if you keep doing this, at some point torwards the end the raid boss ends up getting subdued anyway without needing to use gems and lowers its defense just in time to be defeated.

Bumping one last time in case any last frens wanna help out with the picture liking shenanigans. Missing just 2 more likes and that should be it :)

That's one of the error/glitches that happens every so often. It wasn't in any way exclusive to the Origin event so that's unlikely to count in any way.
Next time that happens, message niantic support in-game and they will likely give you your pass back, just so that you know.

What do you guys recommend spending money on for the game? Anything that's a waste or not worth the price?

I think the best moment to spend money is mainly during events like Go Fest or Go Safari because very good mons tend to be available then, for those you can buy Go tickets for the worldwide events which net you buffed shiny rates, free raid passes, etc. Go Pass Deluxe is sometimes worth it when they have good items (like the hyper training bottle cap) or maybe the lucky trinket if you're looking for one. We're getting a special Go Pass for next week's Max Finale, might be worth it depending on what they offer.
I would recommend against buying coins because they are expensive compared to other methods (I read that spoofing to like Singapore let's you buy coins for dirt cheap or something).

Keep trying. Why was your submission rejected btw? Best thing you can do is try again taking what they said into account. For instance, if one of the points mentioned that it was in private property, try snapping a pic that shows the street. Sadly, waytrannies run the show, and unless they like what you have (or you are fortunate enough not to be found by them) they will screw you over.

On the meantime, best you (or they) can do is open gifts and level up a Pokémon to be Great Buddy or higher (they sometimes bring you balls).
Also, once/if any of them are level 35 or higher, they will be able to submit stops too, which gives you double the chances of having your submission accepted.

this was about a year ago. i been tanking for a while and got all three platinums for winning battles. so i have been farming for dust and candies. anyways me and my buddy decided to go to one of these in-person pvp tournament things because a guy we went to high school with 25 years ago owns a game store now.

so me and my buddy show up and i knew it was great league but my buddy was so clueless he had a shadow mon with frustration as one of his team. so we get there and we had to write down our six chosen pokemon and their moves and cp and shit when we registered.

i thought this would be some retarded kids and normies but instead it was literal faggots, trannies, and virgins.

so you get paired up and these faggots brought literal notepads and you have to show them your list of mons you have to pick from and they show you yours. and they create a table on their paper and look it up on pvpoke and they make a chart showing what to use to kill all your mons (you are supposed to be doing this gay shit too). so when you battle they have a literal cheat sheet right in front of them and it is allowed.

so i dont take notes because to me the point is to know the types and counters. so its a best 2 of 3 battles and you can swap pokemons in and out. so i get barely edged out 2-1 vs a literal fag. then i played a literal tranny and got blasted 2-1. then i played the other faggot and won 2-0. my friend didnt win any.

so needless to say i never went back because its bullshit that you get to make and use a literal cheat sheet before every opponent. whose dumbass idea was this? i mean i get it if its kids 10 and under only or something but this was adults.

Part of me is shaking my head at bring 6 / pick 3 as a tournament set up, but there’s more I think about it, the more I realize that’s probably the best way to host the thing. The fault is in hosting a gbl tournament at all; there’s no fun way to run that.
If you don’t do bring 6 / pick 3, there’a a HUGE advantage by just being a nosey prick and shoulder hovering over every battle, or asking everyone who loses “so what did they bring?”.
Players probably don’t have every possible viable pokemon, so the knowledge of what they do have would be a gigantic advantage, let alone it reveals what they’re generally comfortable using.
Course, bring 6 / pick 3 also isn’t fun, because you can just use an online calculator to outsource all of the thinking.
Really, just don’t do a gbl tourney.
