I don't hate Barbaracle, but I have a hard time completely liking it because the head having a thumb is frankly stupid. They should've stayed consistent with its hands and for the head had two of those hands interlocked with eyes from the palms forming the face. It's annoying when they have a good concept but mess it up anyway. I feel similarly about Inteleon. Great concept, poor execution.

Inteleon really just needs thicker limbs and to be in a more “animalistic” or unrealistic pose. It already animates like a skink or a snake when it does physical attacks like its tail strike, so clearly they wanted to keep it like an actual reptile on some level.

/vp/ has a senseless hate-boner for this thing
the only bad thing about it is how it looks like it can't use its sword, but you only expect it to even have swords because of its prevos, and I have no issue with evolved forms losing skills its previous forms had for the sake of gaining sheer power (I think Ivysaur originally being bipedal and evolving into Venusaur is okay too). Seeing it still use its swords in this form feels more like a neat reference to its previous bipedal forms.
On its own, Samurott is at worse a completely inoffensive design for a sea lion creature.
