I think she's just having a hard time maneuvering around the town because of how big she is, if she'd tripped then the buildings around her would be collapsing from the sheer magnitude of her volume.

Lida story writer - I wouldn't be opposed to trying suggestions for shorter stuff if the idea sounds cool enough. Working with characters who have less content then others is a preference, especially for side-games, because giving size stuff to characters who don't have much yet just feels nice.

It seeks fine enough. I like Ranger's cast of characters, and have good memories of liking the game, I'd be okay with trying it out. I'll see if I can put something together come next weekend or so, not as long as the prior story, but something short. I've never tried shrink stories before, so it'll be new, but should be roughly the same sort of deal as big ladies, I'd think.
One change I'd probably request is to have the shrinking be a mechanical malfunction, as opposed to the Pokemon, but that's up to you if that's cool, or full-steam ahead on the Pokemon plan.

Honestly it would probably be easy, remember, Lorewise Dynamax requires a Powerspot, so you can just make them Set-Piece Boss Battles with its own system, think Eikon Battles from FFXVI combined with the Nobles. That G-Max already streamlines moves into 1 of each type (+Guard and Gigantamax Moves) would actually make it more doable then one would think.
