Screenshot this as this is my theory on the next set after Gen 2. See, all the Gens that they have used so far are Gens that have no transformation gimmick. Gen 1, then Gen 4, Gen 7, and finally Gen 2 are what they have used so far. I know people will say, "But Gen 7 have a gimmick!!" Yes, but not a transformation one.

This would leave Gen 5 and 3 next on the list (or just Gen 5 depending how they do Gen 3). This would mean, once we do all the Gens without gimmicks, then we will get Gen 6, Gen 8, and Gen 9 next (the reason I don't know if they do gen 3 before or after the gimmicks is because of ORAS). I also believe that whatever we get coming Megas, Dynamax, and Terastal, that knocking them out will give us 3 points. What do you guys think?

Rampardos is stupidly inconsistent because the basic isn't a pokemon. I've tried everything I could think of to make it work but it doesn't. You can't open with the fossil, you can't search it with pokeball or communicator. You need to open with a dummy Mon, draw into the fossil, candy and Rampardos, then retreat it.

Even though it's 1 energy it's slowed down by retreat cost and being unsearchable, so if you luck out it's super oppressive but if you don't get lucky it bricks hard

Pretty much summed up my thoughts, M.Blaziken and M.Altaria seem like they both will be pretty damn strong when they come out, especially since the former's energy discard can be solved with Magby (not to mention stuff like Elemental Switch and Dawn existing) and the latter has good synergy with Sylveon EX.
I'm split with M.Gyarados, 4 energy can take a good while and with Sylveon being so prominent, I'm not sure if the discard part of the attack will actually have much weight. Here's hoping they add some support to help it out somehow sometime soon.
