Costco has implemented a new online queing system for Pokémon card products.

This comes as a result of diverting less product to distribution and more to big box and more direct to costumer based sellers who dont hold back product or up charge the prices based on secondary market value and have ways of avoiding buy outs.

We may soon see the end of all these retarded rip & shippers, secondary market sellers, online stores (that only sell pokemon, like wtf get a real job).

Its a good day, capitalism and the free market is taking a turn for the best for the end consumer & collector.

Many resellers and rip & shippers are crying about getting less product now, don't forgot they had no problem taking advantage of you financially, exploiting peoples gambling addictions, etc.

These sellers got greedy and forgot a key component of economics. Competition is supposed to make the product more affordable to the end consumer, not more expensive and only leaving corporate equity able to purchase.

For their greed theyve been rewarded with absolute scarcity and the inability to resell.

Its a celebratory time.

However, I do leave some temporary spaces based on the leaks on pokebeach, so I know 1-2 months in advance which cards I'll need and which ones I can realistically afford, excluding fomo pumps or impossible limited exclusives. So they just became synonymous with being referred to as alt arts by some of the not so aware segment of the hobby. I've found great results buying PSA6 cards. You have to be extremely scrutinizing, but the payoff is worth it.
When a card is submitted to PSA and has some damage on it, like a dent, the highest score it can receive is a 6.
So many PSA6 cards are something the person who submitted the card believed was going to get a 10, only for a microscopic dent or something causing the card to score a 6.

After some tough searching, you'll be able to find a card that is a 10 to the naked eye (once you crack it out of the slab). You now have a mint card in everyone's eyes. And if you need to sell it, you'll be able to charge a premium for it since they'll believe its chances of scoring a 10.
