The Omegamon shilling (Charizard level) didn't exist pre-OWG, or for the first half of 02. Around episode 14 of 02, they finally acknowledge the movie, though it's to tie in with the first 02 movie coming out that week and introduces similar concepts. Actual Omegamon appears in a flashback around episode 27 where Miyako talks about how cool he was, and then the second 02 movie has to just try and be Our War Game again to the point they reuse animation, jokes, Omegamon, the villain, and make an Omegamon-style Imperialdramon. The first Tamers movie arbitrarily shoves Omegamon into the story, and he does nothing but drop exposition and transport Jian and Ruki to Takato. Ruki even has to be in awe of his power. The movie's antagonist stems from Apocalymon for no reason but to be an Adventure reference. They also include random real life computer scenes with the OS because they really want people to remember OWG. Tamers also introduces Dukemon, whose design is straight up an homage to Omegamon. That's why he's all white, and the further evolution moment with Crimson Mode is also like Omegamon. At the same time, they say there are Royal Knights led by Omegamon and they include ultimate forms of protagonist Digimon like Magnamon, Dukemon, UlForceV-dramon later, and Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode was the founder.
Frontier is a reputation-based series rather than a sequential stage-based one, so the reputation of the Digimon determines its strength. Dynasmon and LordKnightmon are introduced as Royal Knights, which is supposed to convey to the viewers that they're on the same level as Omegamon and other ultimate protagonist Digimon, and not only that, there are two of them. Susanoomon is an Omegamon expy in the same way Dukemon is, though I think Susanoomon takes after Dukemon since one uses ZERO-ARMS: Grani while Susanoomon uses ZERO-ARMS: Orochi. I'm glad Frontier's movie isn't filled with OWG references, but it's among the weakest of the original run of movies
