>it really is just ONE city
That'll be $80 + $60 DLC1 + $60 DLC2 + tax

>$0
Despite buying all my games legitimately, I make an exception for Nitendo and Switch games - pirate them all no exception. It's unethical to give Nintendo money.

Gameplay looks crap, you just spam moves when cooldown ends, also what's the point of moving if attacks hit your pokemon anyway?

They want to make the player (You) more active in battle because they think it would look more cool. They tried to copy digimon and failed.

Just one city with barely any enterable buildings.

What's the point of making a game set in a fuckin' big city if it's going to work as one big Wild Area anyways?

Blame braindead normies who've been screaming "abandon turns" for the last twenty years or so.

I’m a fan of the Yakuza series, so I am completely unbothered by being limited to one city since there’s still so much you can do in it. What I’m surprised by is just how there are way too few enterable locations, and that there are not many varieties of activities.

Couldn’t have GameFreak taken a page out of RGG’s book or something?

In Yakuza you can get inside convenience stores, fast food, restaurants, karaoke and bars. GF would never put half the effort to do something similar

$60 on Switch 1, $70 on Switch 2 (despite the S2 version being the exact same game but with higher res, draw distance(?) and FPS.) $10 upgrade if you buy the S1 version.

Also:
>one city, way too small to be a whole game unless there's something TPC hasn't said yet
>you can't go into like 99% of buildings IIRC you can go into one (1), but don't quote me on that, and every building has opaque windows, they couldn't even be assed to shit together some cheap parallax effect like any other game (not even on the S2 version)
>can't even freely get up onto the buildings, you have to teleport up there via big glowing icons
>even on Switch 2, every building in the game is bland as hell with hardly any details to them, completely flat planes with random awnings slapped across random walls because it's just a straight no-effort port being called a "native Switch 2 release"

>XYgote finally realises L: Z-A is not "Pokémon Z" the lost rehash of her youth
And they told you that 18 months ago. Are you retarded or just ignorant that you assumed they HAD to include the rest of the missing region and not in fact concentrate on Lumiose city like they'd told you they were doing?

One city can work but the way GF will likely do it it will feel too cramped too fast.
