Caught up with the episode. I think outside of the Mega Dragonite reveal it was fine, Roy was right in getting angry over Uruto's actions messing up the observation room but his response was very misplaced.

That he got robbed within a day after leaving the blimp is what made me laugh honestly. For the MD reveal, I was expecting a new Mega Pokemon for ZA but that it is Dragonite (where I am not a fan of its design) doesn't help the Kanto Stigma.

It's not that bad but the wings just being glued on top of the head is presenting the same problem I had with the Tera Crowns in SV: The normal camera angle for battles makes it take up a notable amount of the screen or covering up other elements. The only plus point this time around would be the lesser impact it would have on the frame since it's a different model rather than reflective assets being being rendered around the Pokemon.

Scarlet and Violet era is officially over both for TCG and VGC meanwhile games like Unite and TCG Pocket already have plans to market Z-A. The anime is seemingly the last Pokémon work to still feature Paldea Pokémon as protagonists, sorta. Yet, there's still around 40 Pokémon or one third of the Gen 9 Pokédex that haven't appeared in the anime. At least three of these (Skeledirge, Quaquaval and Armarouge) have clues that they're going to appear in the future considering the teams of the main characters but what do you think about the chances of these random Pokémon like Revavroom and all those legendaries and paradoxes from appearing in the anime?

Can you help a tourist here please. I stopped keeping up after the first season or two and the first Mewtwo film that came out. However, even slice-of-life anime has better-animated fights than Pokémon Horizons, making a serious Pokémon anime pointless. Even if we omit his first two gym badges, he was clearly being treated as a Mary Sue by the second half of the first season, particularly in episode 33 ( ほのおのポケモンだいレース!).
