Because Incineroar does Therian's job better thanks to having a Dark Typing (Prankster Immunity) and Parting Shot, a pivot move that instead of doing damage instead lowers offensive stats, which can be far more valuable in terms of forcing pressure to switch on your opponent.
Incarnate's got traction since it's a heavy hitter with Sheer Force that has plenty of options to many of the meta's bastards.

Pokémon can just tera out of a weakness, it’s also hard to one shot those mons since they are trained to be bulky. It’s best to have a grass mon to be immune to spore to position your board easier
