I fully expect the gen 4 starters to get whatever the next gimmick is, or a combination of gimmicks.
Would be cool if [newregion]an turtwig, chimchar, and piplup lines were just wild in the region instead of some special gift. Make them have their secondary types from the get-go maybe instead of having to evolve first.

Sorry, Gen 10's gonna focus on a new gimmick, Legends games will start reintroducing players to other old mechanics like Z-Moves, Dynamax and yes, even Terastal once it's been long enough that SV is old news, and every other successive generation will continue to focus on their own new gimmicks.
