Only redeeming qualities were the sexo character designs and the DLCs being quite good, terrible games otherwise.

I i think i like Shield better overall, mostly because giving Hop Zacian gives him SOMETHING in the Endgame. That said Klara>Avery. Mostly considering the tnings that can't be exchanged between the games here though, not exclusive mons.

I believe gen 8 is a generation with zero redeeming qualities

The entire region was a hallway
Take's character design makes them like finn of adventure time
The creation of dynamax

There are other regions where I feel the same (Jotho, Unova, Kalos) but those are protected by zoomers with nostalgia.
