I wish they'd just get rid of the rock types off all the fossils. Just say they perfected the defossil technique. Literally every illustration of armaldo shows it swimming but its weak to water.

The SM rumors of there being a jurassic park style location in the team aether base where there were alolan (or perfect revival, or another name or whatever) versions of the fossil mons that weren't rock was the absolute peak. The stupid non-fossil mixed up dumb mons were gay. We should have continued to get new fossilmons that were Rock-type and then the gen after or so we'd get their perfected revival versions.

I never realized the similarities with some of these bugs because this picture has 8 of my favorite Pokemon. I guess I like sharp bugs.

Golisopod is the best designed bug since scizor
I don’t mind the EE ability for lore implications but I wish they gave it a HA…for lore implications

Armaldo would be a good option for a new mega. Make it anomalocaris-shaped again, distribute the 100 between its attack, defense, and spdef, and then give it a busted ability like Arena Trap or something.

what bug other than a mantis or beetle could reasonably make a design like this? another scorpion mon, but this time bipedal? Too similar to gliscor or drapion. What about a mole cricket? Those are popular in japan already anyway right

dang that design is great. And I wouldn't mind eurypterids as an inspo for a different one either, even if it maybe steps on kabutops' toes a little bit. I'm sure someone could make it work.
