You're looking at the most boring regional variants. You can tell wooper and clodsire were the main attractions and Tauros just exists to fill the "give a gen 1 pokemon something new" quota so instead of making a new Meowth for the third time they painted Tauros black and called it a day

I don't like this trend of random animals being fighting-type. Back in gen 5 when the swords of justice were added they were weird but at least vaguely mimicked martial prowess. But ever since we got stuff like stufful and crabominable (which I don't mind really they're at least tangential to a fighting design) it's gotten more and more random what gets the fighting typing. gen 9 is the absolute worst at this. Paldean tauros? slither wing??? great tusk????? FLAMIGO???? These should have NEVER been fighting-type, at all. They're like coating a pokemon in flames and claiming it's an ice-type. Or pretending incineroar being a dark-type makes more sense than being a fighting-type.

Should have made the red and blue accents stand out more. SV's gameplay doesn't lend itself well to subtle character designs when you're travelling past them on a rocket dragon.

No I think that would probably be Patrat or Pidove. Really most of the gen 5 "we made a gen 1 thing but worse" mons are totally forgettable. The karate muppets, Ozempic Chansey, Hypno But Ayy Lmao.
