This year's server finally meets it ending on August 23rd, and as usual the world save will be available as usual after midnight
This year includes a website that contains event details, modpack help and information on quests players can complete for rewards.

TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY

Here's to a crazy and fun final day on the server. The finale day event schedule is as follows:

(All times written here are in US Eastern Time)

1:00 PM: Finale Fishing Contest- One last fishing contest. No specific catch bonuses, your final change to reel in the one that got away.

2:00 PM: Finale Bug Contest - Final bug contest, no specific catch bonuses. Get creative and catch the best bug you can.

3:00 PM: Monotype Tournament - Final Tourney - Final Tournament. Reminder the top 5 placers are next years NPC Elite 4.


6:00 PM: 2026 Spawn Build 2026 Contest Touring and Voting - We will be having a public server vote for the winner of the 2026 Spawn build contest. The winner will be determined by community vote of players online. Builders will get to present and explain their builds. You can still build something quick at /warp spawnbuild


6:30 PM: Final deadline for raffle submissions - Have all your golden tickets submitted by then, the raffle begins pulling winners at 6:30 PM. There will be 10 winners, each announced every 1-10 minutes based on RNG of the machine.

7:00PM: Cobblestrike Grand Finals - Final games of Cobblestrike, run for however many people want to play

8:00 PM: Farewell party at the park Including fireworks and a boss battle for some prizes

Afterparty: Zoroark Finale - We'll do as many games as people like

From there we can do whatever people want to do. This is the final time gap for any community or group events, exploring, submissions, gym battles, etc. Leading up to....

11:50 PM Final Gathering and Farewell Screenshot - Head to spawn as the end approaches, we'll snap our final end credits screenshot for the year.

12:00 AM (Midnight): Shutdown - It's over..... Come back tomorrow for Grief Sunday!

I forgot to say this in my journal but I'm pretty happy about how the map system works, with having to discover new locations before you can warp to them and stuff, makes exploration feel rewarding. The last thing I did before leaving was walk from one end of the map to the other and I'm surprised at how many roads and non-vanilla settlements I found.
All the vehicle mods felt kind of useless once you get a ride pokemon, but then again I never messed with them myself
I liked the creative mods like the custom paintings, pictures and the music mod. But by far the best one was waterframes, I hope we can have that too for next year

And thanks to whoever made mrs prime, and also whoever put the slowpoke in vancouver

Congratulations to this year's Champion, PrentRice! and also to the rest of the Elite Four! Whom is comprised of, Monkyy (2nd), Dankgandalf (3rd), BebopSpaceCop (4th), and Slib (5th).
As outlined, The server will close for the night at 12am EST and a normal backup will be made and released. Then on following day at 2 pm EST, the server will be opened again for a griefing event that runs until 8pm EST. This world download will also be made available.

The bus was fun, but the default vehicles were meh. The only time people use vehicles is if a bunch of players are taking a road trip together. So all the one seaters are kinds useless. There also wasn't a fuel economy like in 2022 with Mr.Crayfish. So yet another thing to not make money with.

I never used guns because I can't into fps, and had the pvp off the whole time so I could actually stick around at any event for longer than 5 seconds, but people did enjoy them
The vehicles and boats are made kind of redundant by the ridemons (holy shit I didn't know they had stamina how do you make it infinite please I can't fly anywhere now because this asshole bird gets tired)
I wouldn't call anything else "bloat". You could argue maybe having rechiseled AND chipped was too much, but if anything I wish they were cross compatible instead, more textures aren't a bad thing

Boats were used a bit at the start. Though the only way they or any vehicle type mod would get used is if either taxis got removed or limited in some way. Maybe put a cooldown on them or a certain amount of times you can use them a day that way people would try to use the vehicles more. Only issue though would be people bitching about not being able to easily travel around with no taxi even though it's easy as shit to do.

I feel like boats were used more for decoration than practicality. I saw some boats just chilling near people's builds in docks and such. It's hard to make vehicle mods work when I can just send out my pidgeot

I was thinking about that the other day, /home is ridiculously convenient, maybe even a little too good. I was using it to go all the way across the map between my houses, down into my mines, etc. all the time.
But at the same time it would kinda suck to play without, I think. And before the server started people were already complaining about waystones being gone, which are the same thing with extra steps
